People experience financial hardship for many reasons. It can be hard to pay bills and keep commitments around money. With insurance, this might mean you are struggling to pay your excess after a claim.

How can we support you?
Depending on your circumstances, if you are a customer, third-party beneficiary, or an individual we are seeking to recover money from, our support options could include:
- Change your policy from annual to monthly payments
- Help you review your policy cover
- Fast track an advance payment on a claim
- Reduce or remove any excess due from the claim payment
- Reduce or remove overdue premiums from any policy
- Fast track the claim decision process, and pay a portion of the claim in advance
- Offer instalment payments on any monies owed
- Put the recovery of monies on hold
How to apply for support
We encourage you to contact us if you are experiencing financial hardship and we’ll work out what options are available to support you.
Depending on the type of support you need, you may be required to complete a form and provide supporting documents such as bank statements, Centrelink statements, and pay slips.
