Our teams

Find out more about us by The Actuarial & Analytics team is a central function within Hollard, responsible for the valuation of insurance liabilities, oversight of the Capital Adequacy Framework and reporting & analytics. 

As a central function, they work closely with all Hollard business areas, covering the entire product range. They support the business by providing information on portfolio and operational performance and analytics, assisting finance with completing statutory returns, presenting valuation and capital outcomes to the Board, and working with Technology to develop Hollard’s data infrastructure.

The Actuarial & Analytics team includes Reserving, Capital, Reinsurance and Group Analytics.

Our Commercial team is responsible for the partnerships of which underpin Hollard’s business, including enhancing the profitability of our products and partners, and driving responsible growth.

Our Commercial teams include Portfolio & Strategy, Pricing, Product & Underwriting, as well as Direct, Intermediated, and New Zealand Distribution.

The Finance team manages Hollard’s financial wellbeing and provides regular, timely and high-quality financial reporting to management, regulators, shareholders, and other key stakeholders. 

Our Enterprise Program Management Office (EMPO) provides oversight and governance over the enterprise-wide projects across Hollard. Internal Audit strengthens the corporate governance of Hollard by providing the Board independent assurance of the design and operational effectiveness of the financial and non-financial control environment.

The Finance team comprises of Accounting, Reporting & Tax, Treasury, Finance Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis, Enterprise Program Management Office, and Internal Audit.

Operations is the heart of Hollard. Our purpose is protecting what our customers value most and keeping them on the road, in their homes and in business. Operations is responsible for executing our customer strategy & experience. As well as driving performance of core insurance operations.

Customer Operations Customer Operations are the 'front of house' to our customers, setting them up for success throughout their insurance journey. We deliver simplified and streamlined customer service solutions with an omni-channel experience.

Home Claims Home is where the heart is. We work to keep it that way with compassion, urgency and fairness.
Motor Claims

Empowered by care and compassion, we provide our customers with independence and peace of mind by swiftly getting them back on the road.

Broker Operations

We are all about the broker (long live the broker!) providing bespoke underwriting and claims experiences supporting our intermediary partners in delivery for their customers.

Optimisation

We support the core Operations team in driving business improvement, ensuring quality outcomes through innovation, building for today with tomorrow in mind.

Workforce Enablement

We partner with our stakeholders to deliver strategic workforce solutions to support Hollard to Achieve operational efficiencies and our North Star.

Customer Advocate

We amplify the voice of our customers and communities to make thing right now and in the future.

Risk and Controls Advisory

We are the protectors of our customers and Operations, finding pragmatic and simple ways to ensure we do the right thing by our customers, our people and our business and for our regulators.

Supplier Partnerships and Performance We ensure Hollard has all the services and support needed via external suppliers to deliver improved customer experiences at the right cost. We ensure our service providers are aligned with our "One Hollard" purpose and strategy, living and breathing our "Heart of Hollard" ethos.

People and Culture are responsible for all things employee related at Hollard including employee experience and culture, recruitment, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and operational business partner support. We’re also responsible for Hollard’s internal communication, public relations, and media.

The Risk & Compliance team are accountable for all 2nd Line of Defense Risk Management duties for Hollard. Risk & Compliance is operationally independent of business functions and, through the CRO, has a direct reporting line to the CEO and has unfettered access to the Board Risk Committee.
Our Teams in Risk & Compliance include Legal & Governance, Risk Governance & Assurance, Financial Risk, Operational Risk, Group Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs.

The multi-disciplinary technology team works closely with our customers (including internal, partners, and external). The team is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of IT products and services that support our customers through all aspects of the insurance value chain.

Our Technology team includes Cyber, Data, Engineering, Technology Operations, Delivery & Business Engagement, Architecture, Centre of Excellence (COE).
