Changes to acceptance criteria - SCTP
Personal lines on SCTP
During April 2024 there were a number of changes to our underwriting acceptance criteria for Hollard personal insurance policies as follows:
- Introduction of minimum sum insured criteria for home, contents and landlord insurance policies.
With effect from 3 April 2024, Hollard will no longer be offering quotes or renewals where the sum insured is below the minimum sum insured as outlined in the table below.
In addition:
Quotes with a sum insured, below the minimum sum insured outlined above will be returned as a decline on or after the effective date of 3 April 2024.
Renewal invitations with a sum insured less than the minimum sum insured outlined above will be declined on or after the effective date of 3 April 2024.
These changes have been made to ensure our policies meet Hollard’s risk appetite and product design. - Requirement for risk location to be located on the Geocoded National Address File (GNAF)
From 17 April 2024, we will no longer be allowing or offering Home and Landlord insurance where a manual address is entered for the risk location. If the address cannot be validated with a GNAF, a quote or policy will be declined.
If you have any questions regarding the changes, please contact your Account Manager or the Hollard Insurance underwriting team at underwriting@hollardinsurance.com.au.
