SCTP enhancements

We are expanding our risk appetite, with 100's of brand new and eligible occupations (i.e. 3D printing industry, various kiosk occupations, pet industry, food delivery/people transport etc).

Our insurer specific business occupation code descriptions are clearer and more consolidated, to further reduce question sets and make it easier for you to find correct occupations.

Our occupation list is more relevant and modern to meet your clients' requirements.

Low referral model

Our low referral model is designed to provide you with a more efficient experience in the quote and bind process.

You’ll find that there are more definitive yes/no decisions provided up front for most risks, enabling you to spend less time waiting for a response, and more time making immediate decisions for your clients.

Our SCTP offering

We will match the renewal offered premium when you transfer your Insurelink renewal policies to the Hollard Commercial SCTP policy on SCTP.

Please note that this applies where we have offered terms via Insurelink, and the risk details must be identical to the Insurelink policy invitation.

Simply refer your SCTP new business policy to our team and include the previous policy number so we can match the premium.

SCTP tips and hints

Read the tips and hints section below to help you obtain the best possible outcome for acceptance and pricing from Hollard Commercial Steadfast Client Trading Platform Business Insurance on SCTP.

Any insured that imports goods but does not actually conduct manufacturing, should be quoted under the appropriate occupation that reflects what the business actually does i.e. retailer / wholesaler. You then simply answer ‘yes’ to the importing question on liability.

A ‘tenant business’ occupation needs to be entered for each and every tenant. The hard coded reference on SCTP“must represent most hazardous tenant” does not apply to Hollard Commercial. Hollard Commercvial will identify the most hazardous tenant using the occupations codes you have selected. Please refer to the help button on this section in SCTP which notes the following:

For Hollard Commercial each and every separate tenant to be listed. For example if a building has 2 accounting firms and 2 apartments, then 4 tenants business must be entered with 2 as accountants and 2 as apartments.

We recommend that you check all default answers on SCTP prior to submitting any quote with Hollard Commercial as they may have an impact on the acceptance and pricing that is provided.

We require a Business Interruption cover section for each and every situation.

We require a Public and Products Liability cover section for each and every situation.

The turnover used to calculate the premium is the total of all situations. If a split is not known then please enter the total turnover on the first situation and then $1 on each of the other situations.

The SCTP system generates a COC for each policy. However, in the following limited scenarios you may need to generate a manual COC, by completing these steps:

COC for outdoor seating/signage, one off events etc. In the freeform business description box you are able to place this description, which will automatically flow into the system generated COC for you to print off. (Please note that if it is a one off event request, these should be referred in for an underwriter to review).

If the interested party name is too long for the free form field and is therefore not correct on the system generated COC, please refer this in for an underwriter to add the full name of the interested party as a manuscript endorsement.
